This Privacy Notice explains how Ahlu Sunnah Project ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use Ahlu Sunna Quran Hadith and much more (the "App").

Account data: email address, authentication details, and any display name you provide when you sign up or update your profile.
Settings and bookmarks: your saved prayer location, calculation method, school preference, alarm preferences, and bookmarked verses, hadiths and duas.
Usage data: limited information about how you interact with the App (for example, feature usage and error logs) used only to improve the App and fix issues.
Device/technical data: browser type, IP address, and device type as part of standard server logs and analytics.
Payment data: we do not collect or store your payment card details. Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. Stripe collects the information needed to complete purchases and manage subscriptions.

3. How we use your data

We use your personal data to:

create and manage your account;
provide the App's features, including saved bookmarks, prayer time calculations, and subscription status;
process and manage Premium subscriptions via Stripe;
improve the App and respond to support requests;
keep the App secure and prevent abuse.

4. Legal basis

We process your data on the basis of: (a) contract performance — to provide the App and any subscription you pay for; (b) legitimate interests — to improve, secure, and support the App; (c) consent — where you explicitly opt in to optional communications or analytics; and (d) legal obligation — where required by law.

5. Who we share data with

Stripe, Inc. — for payment processing, subscription management, invoicing, and billing-related customer support.
Hosting and backend service providers — to run the App, store data, and send service-related communications.
Professional advisers — such as legal and accounting advisers, where necessary.
Authorities — if required by law or to protect our rights.

6. International transfers

Some of our service providers may process data outside Australia. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions to protect your data.
