Ayat al-Kursi (protection)

Morning & Evening

Allahu la ilaha illa Huwa, Al-Hayyul-Qayyum. La ta'khudhuhu sinatun wa la nawm. Lahu ma fis-samawati wa ma fil-ard.

Allah — there is no god worthy of worship except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of all. Neither drowsiness nor sleep overtakes Him. To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on the earth.

Quran 2:255 — recited morning and evening for protection (Sahih al-Bukhari 2311)

Master supplication for forgiveness (Sayyid al-Istighfar)

Morning & Evening

O Allah, You are my Lord. There is no god but You. You created me and I am Your servant, and I keep my covenant and promise to You as much as I can.

Sahih al-Bukhari 6306

Upon reaching the morning

Morning & Evening

We have entered the morning and the whole kingdom belongs to Allah. All praise is for Allah. None has the right to be worshipped but Allah alone, without any partner.

Sahih Muslim 2723

Upon reaching the evening

Morning & Evening

We have entered the evening and the whole kingdom belongs to Allah. All praise is for Allah. None has the right to be worshipped but Allah alone, without any partner.

Sahih Muslim 2723
